Hi Everyone!

I need to start working on the t-shirt design to have enough time to get it printed. I'm trying to find images that connect with Mardi Gras and it's tough to find ones that are simple enough to work for a t-shirt and something that a guy and a girl could wear (most of them are kind of "girly" looking).

If any of you have some time or some talent to design something of your own or find an image online, like through i-stock, let me know.

Thanks
Audrey

Hey Renita,
Have you made any arrangements for the latin "dance instuction" dealy we talked about yet? I have a LOT of free time on my hands and was thinking about contacting Daryl (if he's available) if you hadn't already made arrangements. If you could let me know either way that'd be awesome.

Thanks!

Hello Sam,

I have not made any plans for the dance instruction yet. If you would like to try to contact Darryl that would be great. Thank you, If you have troubles I think i might have a back up plan. Marita Cardinal who teaches social dancing might be a good person too.

Thanks,

~ Renita ~

Hello Everyone,

I have sent a hand drawn picture that is an idea for the t-shirts to everyone's email. Let me know what you think?

Have a great day!

Hello Everyone,

I sent out an e-mail of some images that were not so gender specific...These are for the t-shirts...i hope it sparked ideas for everyone and especially Audrey!

I liked all the images you two sent. What I'm thinking is using the masks from Renita's idea and adding a kind of ribbon like background. More like the swirls in the background of Cristal's image. I'm still concerned it will look too feminine. Guys - What do you think?
I am also not a graphic designer so we would have to hire one to put it together for us, which means more money. But I will check with PR here at WOU.

hi Audrey,

I was thinking about having the shirts a gray color if you decide to use the black and red as the main colors.

Thanks Renita.

Good news! One of the graphic designers at WOU is available to help us create our t-shirt design, so we don't have to pay for the service. I'm meeting with her today to show her your ideas and see what she thinks we can do.
